Many of the frequencies used by this system are licensed under Part 22 of the FCC Rules, which is about paging services.  NYSEG (New York State Electric & Gas Corporation) has received a waiver from the FCC to build a statewide digital voice network with 51 tower sites.  Some sites transmit callsigns that indicate their locations.  NYSEG has also acquired several VHF low band paging blocks.  So far, there are no specific transmitter sites associated with those licenses.  For all trunked sites, SysID=0269 WACN=BEE00 and NAC=260.
